As the hotel is so near to the railway
station – since the tracks are so very
much lower, almost at sea-level at the
bottom of The Cliff, the trains can hardly
be heard – it is very conveniently situated
for travel by rail, and its proximity to the
bus station, the departure quay for the
RMMV Scillonian III and the Penzance
Heliport makes it probably the best-
situated hotel for touring the West
Cornwall peninsula or for an overnight
stay en-route to the Isles of Scilly.

We can always recommend the best
in food to our visitors, with a wide
range of organic local produce – where
available – on our menu and a broad-
based knowledge of local restaurants
and fine inns.

As has been said before, we still have
family contacts in the local food industry,
and tend to serve food from these sources
before any others since we can vouch for
their quality.
